Albacross: 5 Sales Plays Orchestrated by Claude, Attio and Slack
The five rules of thumb still work. What changes is who does the legwork: Claude runs the plays across Albacross, Attio and Slack or Microsoft Teams, and your sales team picks up a short list of accounts worth calling, with the context already attached.
In The Albacross Rule of Thumb, we shared five simple ways to find sales opportunities in your website traffic: exclude existing customers, prioritize engagement, watch pricing and product pages, chase Contact Us visitors who never converted, and act quickly on the right people.
Every one of those rules is easy. The hard part is doing all five, every morning, without someone forgetting.
That's where an AI orchestrator comes in.
Albacross already syncs identified companies into your CRM and pushes alerts to Slack and Teams. Add Claude on top, connected to Attio and your chat tool, and the rules stop being a checklist someone has to remember. They become a routine that runs on its own and reports back.
Here's how each rule looks when Claude does the orchestration.
You don't need more tools. You need the tools you already have to talk to each other.
How the setup fits together
Three tools you may already use, plus one orchestrator. Albacross brings the signal, Attio holds the memory, Slack or Teams is where the team works, and Claude connects them on a schedule you choose.

Albacross feeds identified companies into Attio. Claude reads that context, applies your rules, writes the results back, and posts the accounts worth acting on to your team channel.
Rule #1, orchestrated: Exclude your existing customers automatically
The manual version: connect your CRM or upload a CSV of customer domains, tag them, and filter them out.
The orchestrated version: Albacross syncs identified companies into Attio, where your customer records already live. Before Claude surfaces anything, it checks each company against Attio. Is there a closed-won deal? An active customer record? An open opportunity owned by a rep?
If yes, the company is skipped, or routed to the account owner as an expansion signal instead of a new-business lead.
No more reps researching a company that already pays you. The CRM becomes the filter, and it's always up to date.
Rule #2, orchestrated: Let Claude rank engagement for you
Albacross gives you activity filters, return visits and visit duration. Those are great signals, but someone still has to read them and decide who matters today.
Claude can do that read every morning. You give it your rules in plain language, for example:
- Ignore visits under 30 seconds
- Boost companies that came back more than once this week
- Boost companies that match our ideal customer profile in Attio
Claude applies those rules, writes the result back to Attio as a field or list (say, a "Hot this week" list), and explains why each company made the cut.
Engagement stops being a filter you remember to set. It becomes a ranked list with reasons attached.
Rule #3, orchestrated: Turn pricing and product page visits into tailored outreach
A pricing page visit suggests someone is evaluating. A product page visit tells you which product. In the original rule, the advice was to pitch that product, not everything you sell.
Claude takes this one step further. When a company hits your pricing page or a specific product page, Claude:
- Notes which pages were viewed and in what order
- Pulls what Attio already knows: past emails, call notes, previous deals, who owns the account
- Drafts a short, specific opening for the rep, built around the product the company was researching
The draft lands as a note or task on the Attio record. The rep reviews it, adjusts it, and sends it in their own voice.
Relevance used to mean manual research on every account. Now it's waiting on the record when the rep opens it.
Rule #4, orchestrated: Catch the Contact Us visitors who walked away
Someone opened your Contact Us page and left without submitting the form. In the original rule, you'd build a segment in Albacross, exclude customers, and remove anyone who already submitted an inquiry.
With Claude in the loop, that check runs every day. Claude compares the Contact Us visitors against Attio: no customer record, no recent inbound inquiry, no open deal. What's left goes straight to a dedicated list in Attio, and a short summary goes to your team channel.
Because Claude can also read your inbox history through Attio, it can spot the edge cases a segment filter misses, like a company that emailed sales directly instead of using the form.
These are the warmest accounts nobody is talking to. Now somebody will be, the same day.
Rule #5, orchestrated: Find the right people and act while it's hot
The original advice still stands: set up your buyer persona in Albacross, find the right contacts, and pick up the phone. Fast.
Speed is exactly where orchestration pays off. Instead of a rep checking a dashboard when they have time, Claude posts to Slack or Microsoft Teams the moment an account qualifies:
- Who visited, and which pages
- Why it matters: pricing visit, return visit, ICP match
- Who to call: the contacts matching your persona, already in Attio
- What to say: the drafted opener from Rule #3
- Who owns it: the rep tagged directly, based on territory or account owner in Attio

An example of what lands in the channel: everything the rep needs to act, in one message.
The rep claims it in the thread, Claude logs that in Attio, and the conversation starts the same day the interest showed up.
The best time to call is when they're still thinking about you. Now your team hears about it while they still are.
Keep a human in the loop
Orchestration is not autopilot for your relationships. A few guardrails we recommend:
- Claude drafts, reps send. Outreach goes out under a person's name, reviewed by that person.
- Write to your own fields. Let Claude update a dedicated list or score field in Attio rather than overwriting core records.
- Start with one channel. Run the daily digest in a single Slack or Teams channel for a few weeks, then tune the rules.
- Stay compliant. Albacross identifies companies, not individuals, and is GDPR compliant. Keep your outreach to the same standard.
The goal isn't to remove your sales team from the process. It's to remove the busywork in front of it.
Final thoughts
The five rules of thumb are still the foundation: exclude existing customers, prioritize engagement, watch high-intent pages, follow up on the Contact Us visitors who walked away, and act fast on the right people.
What's new is that you no longer have to run them by hand.
Albacross tells you which companies are interested. Attio holds everything you know about them. Slack or Teams is where your team already works. Claude connects the three, so a website visit turns into a ranked, researched, assigned opportunity without anyone copying data between tabs.
You don't need more leads. You need a system that makes sure the ones already on your website never slip through.
Because identifying companies is only the beginning. Turning that signal into conversations, automatically and on time, is where pipeline is made.
